Nice ride Foo, you still the old one?
Thanks. Sad but after 10 years of hard use (see below ) I had to sell the LC4 as well as the Vmax in order to add the 500 to my collection. 2 bikes in 9 days in CL and on the 10th got the exc. Worked out pretty good.

Been like a 3 month process? Glad you got it sorted but was betting you would go "new" .

Out for Sun but am thinking about a mid weeker up to to Durhamtown if anyone's down - it's my last week of un employment and all.

Durhamtown Sept 27-30

Heading to Durhamtown on Sept 27-30. So far there are two of us going. Wanted to see if anyone else was interested in splitting the cost of a cabin.

5.5 hr drive up to DP. Dead nuts empty . I played in the rocks some.

Also played in the mud - how can ya not here.
Had the back pass the front 2 different times. This one sent me into the bushes. The orange mud is super tackie but the darker color mud is real slick.

The front stayed out of the puddle but the ass end slid in to the right and sent me off to the left .

Trails close at 6 and then what?

Perfect cabin name for where I stand with Mrs. Manfu .

Yep, it was a solo effort - trying to take advantage of my last bit of summer freedom. Drove up wed morning and drove back home fri morning. That gave me a 3/4 and a full day on the trails. I know, the mid week trips are tuff ,

When is the next ONF DS ride?
Otherwise game for Richloam / green swamp

I'm not taking my Tenere there again. Will have the old KLR with some new knobbies.
Tenere did fine on the main roads, not sand trails. The KLR I'll take through anything like it's always done.

Wazzup Joe.

Nice Super Ten you got there!

I haven't ridden ONF or Richloam in a while. With all this rain we've been having lately, I'm sure Richloam is mostly underwater.

ONF sounds good. I guess it all depends on what the storm does.

A little Richloam recon for you guys:

I rode through there about a month ago, even some of the bigger trails on the north side were already wet. I was on the 950, so I didnt even try the smaller ones, Im sure they were flooded. ONF is probably the place to go.

Dammit, I'd like to go but I need to some stuff to the KDX and the KTM to get them ready and I don't think I'll have the time.

Yea...
Sorry man!
I announced I was down here about a year ago but been MIA.
Year went by fast!!! Actually a year & 3 months!
Been busy working building my small business & also busy house hunting. We still have not bought anything, still freaking renting.

Sold my 200hp Vmax & bought the Tenere.
KLR is 10 years old & won't die. Keeps on thumping.

Have really not done much riding. I've done Richloam / green swamp once. ONF briefly. Croom a few times.
Cooler weather is soon, so we've got to meet ups. I did one run back up to N.Ga mountains for a weekend, few weeks ago.

ONF really ain't that far from me, like 2 hours slabbing from Clearwater. I could leave early & meet some of you FF's for a day DS riding in the forest. I'd love to ride some of the harder terrain shown by a good lead captain.
