BTW, today's "Croom" ride was excellent.

Lots of hill climbs, bent handlebars, & the usual wankering going on. Couldn't ask for a better day.

Good to meet you LarryGee & Tazs.

Hopefully "gramps" you know who you are didn't offend y'all at lunch.

I know the old lady sitting behind us was.

Most of my pics were blurry except for this one...

WTG Jerry!

Lyle nice to meet you. Couldn't agree more on both fronts. A great day for a calm, casual ride and I do sleep with one eye open in said "certain" company. I did wake up to Bonnie Tyler singing in the pedo van and was a little alarmed. JA was dozing off as well. A little JD rumble strip music got us both alert.

Eloy great pic and if you posted the next in sequence it would have been of me falling down the hill with my bike chasing me. LOL

Cheers.

OK I'll transport the bikes to SLAP. Checking to see if Mata can get some time off; I'd like to take a week or 10 days.
Now i just need to get moving on the SV Frakenbike.

Did you get any decent pix?
I'm hoping Larry got a video clip or two.

Does video count?

Great Day.... ride was a little out of my league but aside from a few bruises, had a blast.

Thanks to Taz, Jerry and SF for helping pickup my bike.......again and again...

Special thanks to SF who found my Contour after it was ripped from my helmet as my head bounced down the hill.

Apparently it's not a good idea to throttle up when your rear end is buried and your nose is pointed straight up....

Where we goin' next?

Just like someone mentioned above. You need to go out there after a good rain, its totally different with some traction.

We tried out some Mt. Bike trails on Sun., and they were in fine condition. No sand to speak of. Strange how a pedal bike packs it down.

Round-trip airfare to fayettville Ar.is $460 so if any of you FF want to do SLAP without the 18 hr drive I can take your bike and do the airport shuttle.
for a SMALL FEE
