he gave me a MSO from SC since he was the original owner as well as all the other paper work including the receipt from the dealer showing what he had paid when it was new. like 6500$ or something like that.

I also got an extra cylinder, pipe, full gasket kit, and a clutch kit in the deal. im ordering a new piston for the spare cylinder then sending them both off to have it replated so when its time for a top end job i just drop the new cylinder and piston in there and be in and out in 2 hours.

EDIT: Ive already ordered a kickstand, tail light, and a KTM headlight for this bike. ive heard storys from both ends that these XCs have extra positive wires for a headlight and tail light so when the lights show up ill be hunting for that wire.

Just want to remind/invite all you Sand Fleas to the First Annual (we hope) Dual Sport Ride at Perry Mountain Alabama on April 12th.

The ride will NOT be on the infamous PM Enduro trail. It will start from the Famous Reynolds pasture and run through about 120 miles of mountain forest roads. There will be lunch and gas available.

This is a NO FEE ride. You can make donations if you wish.

This area has been hosting great motorcycle events since 1939 and are still going strong.

Put it on your calendar and spread the work.

Good riding with you at the weekend.

I talked to Brian and confirmed I would come. Is there a thread with more details?

Thought this was being kept quiet?? No worries!

Cheers

Pete

No on keeping it quiet. All are welcome and invited. This is mostly a small bike ride but I am pre-riding this weekend and may have other news as we get closer. An Adventure ride might be in the makings.

This will be a bit more challenging than the Treemans since most of the ride will be two track and not dirt roads. Should have great scenery and elevation changes.

Spread the word.

Some interest up this way as well, crossing my fingers that I will be in town. Should be a good FL presence.
