Do you have a deathwish?

Seriously. DO NOT take Deathwings into sand.

Its a blast on properly aired down knobbies, or a paddle.

Never used rimlocks myself.. just low pressures. Never had the rear slip.

Exhaust spark arrester

Is the spark arrester going to affect my performance at all. I dont really want to install it but in Colorado I think it is a big $ fine if you get cought riding off road without one.

better to get fined then caught by a homeowner/rancher that you just burned his place down due to non-arrestor.

for the difference in power you better be one fast SOB, think about it. are you railing it, WFO every time you ride, how often hitting the throttle stops? ( even if your johnny campbell, run it) granted high elevation hurts performance but its serious business the sparky thing. hey, I was an idiot w/o one near 40 yrs ago but, I learned. just run it.

The things that are really going to affect your performance are those Death Wing tires and that giant rear fender, tail light assembly. Try one of these kits... http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com/s...gory&cat_id=72

The two of us have each put about 5000 miles on ours, riding all day for two 14-day stretches, mostly on the TAT. We've used the bottles to carry water or spare fuel on a few occasions. I would give the sweetcheeks the highest rating with no reservations whatsoever.

Below are some photos where you can see them on the bikes:

The Corbin was well worth the $$ but I do wish I had known about the sweetcheeks thing before I spent the bucks.

As much as I resent paying $350 for a seat, I think I'll have to... hoping to put some serious touring miles on this coming season and monkey butt isn't part of my plan
