For the street part, thereīs no freeway, but maybe a short highway stretch, if itīs not avoidable. But mostly surface roads, preferrably with some twisties...

Iīd love to go to a dealer, and just test ride, but both, the DR650 and the DRZ, have been discontinued in Germany/Europe a couple of years ago. So used is the only way to go here...

Overall, this is nothing more than just thinking out loud right now. My KLR will stay with me for at least another season, mostly for money reasons, but also, because a 1500 buck-KLR is just right for a beginner (I just started riding in this yearīs march).

try posting on a local forum asking to swap bikes with someone for a short(or long) ride. this has worked for me.

I have finished up my winter mods. The HID is awesome and I am very impressed with the CBR tailight. Here is a link to my TT thread.

Installation of Clarke tank... can you help

Hello folks, thanks in advance for your tips.

I have a used DRZ 400S, and am now looking at the instructions from Clarke on installation of their 3.9 gallon tank. They say that emissions controls (charcoal canister etc) must be removed as part of the install. So, bummer about my future emissions, but I'll get over it.

Can you tell me how to do this? Any complications? I haven't really looked at the way the emissions control system works, so you won't hurt my feelings telling me the obvious. Another way of putting this: I know nothing, so anything will be an improvement.

Cheers!

Paul

You mean you can change it?

Sorry I run with the old skin and it drops links in in black or something nearly invisible so I changed it to white. I haven't messed with the other skins so it seemed reasonable......

Go to your Inmate CP and you can change it to Fresh, very easy to do.
I like the way looks a lot better than the old black.

A few months ago, i bought a DR-Z 400 for my garage and to make company to my LC8 950 Adventure

It has got already a few modifications:
-CRD Skid Plate
-Works Connection frame guards
-Polisport hand guards
-WRP Fat Bar
-CRD radiator guards
-Yoshimura RS3 full system

Very nice motorcycle and a real combat machine

A very good choice for allround

Ride safe!

Nice looking bike and what a great riding area! I would love to ride something like that compared to the desert I live in!

Enjoy!

Which DRZ do my Cams suit

Hi
I have brought a couple of second hand cam shafts for my DRZ400 E.
I am now worried they might be for an E model after all, apparenlty they should be stamped with an A and a B on the on the gear end of the shaft, but mine have an F and a G respectively.
Can anyone give me some advice about what models this might be from, and would they fit my 2003 E.
cheers
pom
