Thanks Claude. I went ahead and took out that ending apostrophe. {I meant to type parenthesis}

OK, NOW I'M PISSED! Every time I click on either of the links all I get is the page that says the page can not be displayed. How hard is it to double click a mouse right. Maybe I'll kill the mouse.

I took out the close parenthesis (SP?) on the end, but the ADV rider site put it back when you click it. Click on these on this post to get there...

Sorry about the confusion! I think I must be a carrier.....

Got it! Dan looks as though he is recovering well from his illness though he looks a bit thinner than he did. Really glad to see that he's out and loving the bike. Bear

Well we got about 6" of snow in central Pa. today and guess what? Kevin, Brenda and Dan showed up at the shop all smiles. Dan is doing well and enjoying 'Arnold' the sidecar and even a little bad weather is not a deterrant to that.
Thought you all would like to hear that.
See pics below.

Danssidecar,

Not sure of you or your son's circumstances whether he can be taken out of his chair.
But here's an idea I use for when my wife and I go riding.

Hope this gives you some ideas

SidecarKeith,
Neat Setup you have there!
Kevin, Dan and Brenda are not home yet so I will reply. Dan is confined to the wheelchair so when we build the rig we made an entry ramp on the rear that folds down and some bracketry to secure the wheelchair once in place. Kevin did some tweaking on the wheelchair hold down system between the two of us came up with a deal that works very well.
The pics below show this as well as a picture of th erig with the top on it. The body itself tilts up as shown to allow access to the right side saddlebag where the CD player is.

I'm not getting any younger, and pushing my wife up slopes is getting harder.
So I desided
1st The hoist came from a car hoist company who use them in the car door to hoist people into a car seat, easy to adapt.
2nd On long journeys I thought it more comfortable that she sat in a comfy seat low to the ground.
3rd With this design I get better MPG.

Maybe later on when you ache and pain with age like me you may think of the hoist.
