CycleGadgets
Think I'm being too embullient (sic)? Just wait until I need to crucify some vendor/private seller who pulls a fast one. A career on Wall Street is great tuning for the old temper....
Been meaning to post this note for awhile. Highly recommend theese guys. Great customer service. Also quick delivery to even this backwater country and a no hassle return policy. Unless I am a rare case, any newcomers looking at using these folks should rest easy. Time to go back to being a grouch now..

They have been selling my stuff for over a year now, and we started on a handshake deal in Trenton. Definately a class act.

Great people
Met up with the CycleGadgets crew at the Almost Heaven Rally. Couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people. Highly reccommend doing business with them, and am looking forward to future dealings. Brad's a heck of a nice guy as well, and makes a great product.

They just went the extra mile for me this week. I had ordered a PIAA light kit to put on Brad's excellent lightbar. I wanted an Autoswitch, but they found that Autoswitch would not ship any more until they came out with a new version. They had to search to get me what I needed, and came through quick. Great folks, great service (and great products!!).
Now I get to see!!!! (going to setup my lights tomorrow). |

Bought a second TN bar. Almost a shame to hang lights on it...

Well, I gotta say, I'm in my first transaction with Cycle Gadgets, and so far I'm unimpressed.
I submitted a web order for a few RAM parts on Friday. Got a confirmation email of my order that night. Tuesday am (four days after order), I get this email (verbatim): Quote:

I'm biased because I know Sean. That said, the two orders I've made from them have been flawless and hassle-free.

I ordered a TN light bar, the PIAA 520's, and the Cee Baily's head lamp protectors from Cycle Gadgets. The TN and 520's were shipped right away and the lamp protectors a few days later with no extra shipping cost. Customer service did a nice job of addressing my questions about the TN bar. I am very pleased with their service.

Sorry kids...I can't recommend CycleGadgets.
I ordered three peices that should have been regular stock items. Short RAM arm, Long RAM arm, and the BMW RT cast handlebar mount. Three days after order, I get a note saying that one of the parts is backordered and they're gonna wait to ship the whole thing when that part comes in in "several days". Upon advice here, I email and suggest that I'd like to have the two parts they have in stock and they can ship the third when it comes in. Nice response that day saying they'll do that. Five days later, these two parts show up UPS. One of the parts was wrong. It's not the handlebar bolt, but the mirror boss mount, even though the p/n on the invoice has the correct p/n. So now I can't mount the GPS on the RT, but at least I can mount it in the Jeep. I send an email that day saying that they shipped the wrong part and how would they propose we rectify the situation? I expected a quick apology and a note saying they'll ship out the correct part asap and include a shipping envelope or credit to ship back the wrong part. Okay..so that was about four days ago. I have heard NOTHING from them so far. I guess I'll call on Monday, because they don't seem to be work on weekends. I know it's just a datapoint, but they won't be getting anymore of my business, especially since the prices on the RAM parts were a couple of bucks higher than what I could get elsewhere, and probably have the correct parts in my possession a while ago. Methinks they need to uplevel their professionalism and web savvy. YMMV. |
