Newfoundland DRZ Brothers Hit The Trails
It was cloudy on the Avalon Peninsula today, but the temperature was 20 degrees Celsius, and it wasn't raining.
Myself, Doug, and Lorenzo got out for our first serious off road ride of the year, on our trusty DRZ400s. Two blue ones and a green one, to be exact. It felt great to get out there and bounce around on a few rocky and technical trails, for a change. We rode the Shoal Bay trail, and then headed over to the Bay Bulls Big Pond area. Doug managed to get all the way down and back up the Shoal Bay trail, without crashing, on his first ride down there. Not bad, considering that even skilled riders like our good buddies Mike and Steve both took a tumble down there, on their first time through it. Doug later made up for it by having a little get-off in a mud pit, and I was too far away to get the shot, unfortunately. He busted a rear turn signal, but only his pride was injured beyond that. Great run today lads. Felt good to get out there and stand up on the pegs for a change. Thanks for the good company. Here's a handful of photos from our off road ride... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
