This has been on the back burner for me. But tomorrow that should change.
I'm trying to train a lab mix to find deer antlers and understand the drive and inate ability can't be trained if it was never there. King buck must have amazed people.

King Buck, the first dog to ever appear on a U.S. Stamp, and still the only non-waterfowl animal to appear on a Migratory Bird Stamp.

Here is a very nice story of Buck and his great life, if you are interested:
http://www.showmanshooter.com/html/king_buck.html

My Retriever Club is hosting our Fall Field Trial next weekend and the winner of the Open Stake will have their name inscribed on the Nilo Kennel Trophy.

If you decide to go see him, give him a pat on the head for me and maybe even put a dog biscuit on his nose!

Glad it didn't scare you off; it's primarily for the PETA contingent!

I rode right by that station last weekend on my way to another tag, sigh.

BTW, what type of tail bag are you using?

TAG

My wife and I had a great time riding the area .... especially going south into Arkansas. Crossed Bull Shoals Lake on a ferry. Planning to go back again!

Should have a new TAG up by the end of the week.

You sure do get around.

Check out the SWMO tag - it's still in Kansas, and a tad-bit closer to KC.

Bag

CL1040 Nelson Riggs I think of that bag as a trunk and really like it. It came from another inmate who thought it was too big.
And it probably is. I don't think I'll ever max it out.
It gets duty on the back rack on my DRZ too cause it uses the four hooks for mounting.

I'm glad you guys down there jumped on the tag to keep things moving. Love your area.

THNX ..... but not as much as I'd like to! It sure was fun riding that area and south into Arkansas.

I have been watching your SWMO TAGS and noticed the current one at Neosho County SP .... it's tempting to go grab it and while I'm down south find a new TAG for the Central USA photo game.

HMMMMM .....

I am chasing them.

Never tried smoking. Maybe I'll give it a try. Prop already started a thread for the KC BBQ 2014.

I am coming back, and where were you at BBQ2013 mister?

And how about a new tag?

And how about telling us where the old one was?

And how about you actually go and slay some of those damn hoofed forest rats ajayhawkfan?

Y'all need to make more effort, that's all.
