Sugestion For King BALDY..KTM950 specific forum

for the last week,,,is more talk about the KTM that the GS,and I have the feeling is going to be that way for a long, long time,so why not "get with the program" and open a specific forum for the "Orange Crush"

Just a suggestion.

How about a KTM section. Not so limiting. 'Course everything KTM is already well handled by KTM Talk

KTM 950 Forum

I also agree, we have about 10 topics rolling right now. It would be nice to have one place to go. While I might agree about KTM TALK, they don't talk from the perspective we do.

I quess that make sense,,but in a way it those not...

the F650 can be a GS but is always(moslly) post on the thumper section.

I don't know,,I think 950 is going to have so much traffic, justified a single forum, onthe other hand the "other "ktms are great bikes..

lets the "brain" deside.

Wow those guys have 9765 menbers

Off course will be great way to increase the ADVrider population if we manege to bring all those KTM guys into ADVrider.

is funny we don't really talk "Two strokes"here, not even short range fighters,,is all about this "long distance weapons",,and the trips that almost nobody ever take..

Actually, the guys on KTM talk say this is the place to talk about the 950.

The LC8 doesn't really fit in very neatly with all the talk about dirt bikes with light kits that seem to go on in their dual sport forum.

i agree with the doc and grover. it would be nice to have a little section for ktm. ktmtalk is not really a good resource for street legal stuff. mostly 2 stroke crazzys.

I give it 2

So will you like a forum for the 950(only) or for all the KTM's

I think I vote for the 950 specific one,,at least at the moment until more arguments appear

I think it is not needed. KTM info for the 640 and 950 can be found here very easy.

I think this site needs to get away from bike specific forums, G spot included. There are just too many diff bikes.

The Tiger forum and RT forum were dropped for that very reason.

I would think a 950 only forum would be great. The LC4's can still get info from the thumpers. The 950 is the new king of the hill and it's own forum could give it a lot more attention. I also think the 950 is what this place is all about "Adventure Touring" at the more extreme end of the bell curve. I like the name Orange Crush (KTM's new King of the Hill). Maybe it is time for a poll?

suppose thats true.... the lc4 pretty well owns the thumper section. sheet. i dunno. on the other side, it would be nice to keep the lc4 and lc8 stuff together. i know many dont like me saying it, but they do have an awful lot in common. many parts are shared.

rad makes some valid points. there were alot of forums here before.....

I would put a vote in to keep all the ktm stuff (4 and 8) together.

Suggest you keep it simple by making it all KTM. What will you do if the 950 is replaced by a 951...

This way the Adventure Riders of any KTM will be more likely to join.

But anyway, would love to see a KTM section here !
