Whilst having a PD resprasyed and being advised by the dealers that it was okay to paint over the factory decals . . . . . .

They fried once the clearcoat was applied . . . . . Then denied telling me that.

Might be different with the aftermarket ones discussed here, but do not clear over your existing stickers. . . . .

Finished restoration of 10 years ago . . .. sold the bike and became good freinds with the new owner . . . . . its a bit more beaten these days from use as designed

I just worked on an Airhead GS with a white HPN tank. The PO had put blue & black (I think) ADV-style GS letters on it. It looked awesome. If I can get a picture I will.

Motobi,

if you get around to making some decals in Black and yellow for the bumble bees, please let me know I am very interested in purchasing a set for my 92 GS/ PD. I have the orginal GS tank which I use for local rides and the PD tank for longer trips.

Does anyone know where I can find "motobi"...it has been months since I ordered my PD stickers (paid in advance) and I haven't heard anything from him. I have tried to PM him on several occasions with no luck.

So, where are you getting these made. I'd love to find someone who can do a set of the tank decals for my old R80G/S.

+1 on the G/S decals

I hope this hasn't turned into another example of great idea - piss poor follow through considering the lack of response....

I have had a rough couple of months but I am around. I have been working on getting the 92-93 decal set up as well as finalizing the 90 -91 set (With the "GS" above the headlight) decal. I also have the 90-91 set in Bumblebee I have a prototype to pick up later this week, hopefully I will like it and post it soon. I am also looking to do larger orders for the printer, so if there is anyone interested please let me know so I can get an idea about possible numbers. That should speed things up. Thanks again for your intrest.
