Not sure but he posted up in the NWA ride reports about a week or so ago. He did say the cop was beautiful and he might speed there again.

His speed was more than likely measured most likely with radar or laser. The other method is time distance method. I caught an earfull at the PMO when I turned in a speeding ticket based on that method of measurement. It stuck though because it is the most accurate as long as the distance is measured accurately. Being a Division MP it wasn't cost effective to send us to Radar school.

wise-ass remark here:
anybody have interest in a 1000 mile loop through AR where I'll sell my BMW to Nashville where I'll probably pick up a Ducati, then Bell Buckle TN for a party and return saturday? One where you drive me from rural AR to Nashville so I don't have to trailer my bike and then pull an empty trailer for 300 miles, then a loaded trailer 400 miles home? |

I'd be up for a ride from STL this weekend, weather should be nice. I believe we were on the Columbia flats ride last month, I was on the blue KLR.
What/where is the VTRA at this weekend? Darren |

If you are OLeary or A_Sapper a 250 is a 650. Those two can make 250s go like stink. Had a great time following them around at SLAP earlier this year.

Anyone know anything about the forest fire currently going on down in Mark Twain National Forest?

As long as it stays in the Salem area it won't effect the VTRA, just my drive there. I go out the south gate and hook a left on 32.

single track
They are more goat trails, not real wide. If you can keep a big bike moving it won't get to warm. There is some open stuff but once you get into the trails it is pretty tight.
