Very nice------congratulations---nothing like a new bike.
Bash3r sure likes his.
I've never ridden one---but hope to get a chance one of these days.

A new bike always drives me nuts for awhile--getting it all set up the way I want it.
But you'll get there.

If your bike weighs more than 400lbs. You might not make it.

first farkles

Handguards, crashbars, and heated grips. Still deciding on bags. Battery tender wire goes on first so I can use my heated gear as it is gettting cold out there. New bikes drive me nuts too. Luckily I pulled off my pc8 fusebox off the strom, along with my airhorn and other wiring harness items. Just need to find a warm garage to put it all on.

BigDog/with apologies to Mark Knopfler

I hope you all enjoy this video I just made----it's kind of special for me.
I've played guitar all my life and have played in some good bands,
but had to decide between playing in a band and adventure riding a few years ago.
I guess you've seen the one I chose.

I've always played lead guitar---but there have been a few really neat songs I could never play
the lead on because it was just that difficult to play. I've been trying to play the lead to the song
Sultans of Swing for 15 years--but could never play it clean enough to suit me.
But I've been working hard at it lately.

Then I got a 32 channel recording console about 2 weeks ago and have been playing with it.

Long story long---I made this video with a recording I made----I played all instruments except the drums....
which is a machine (doesn't drink or show up late)

I can't sing---never could---and i know it---so bare with me while I talk my way thru this song.........
which I kind of changed the words.

It'd be best if you got some serious speakers and a subwoofer to play it on instead of those
piddly assed computer speakers.

Always loved that song Mark. You played that well, but the singing..... At least the lyrics were changed nicely. Great choice in a song, and pics to go along with.

We had some great hunts down by Cabool many, many years ago. I had heard the birds vanished down there. Glad to hear they are coming back.
We found four coveys in two days.. Two of the covert were so small we didn't shoot. The dogs did great however, it was fun to watch them work.

Did you guys ride this weekend?

Welcome to the asylum! Tune in here often. We ride down your way quite a bit. Lots of good stuff in the Natl Forests.

My intent was to get up to Honz's extravaganza this weekend but life has a way of changing your plans. I need to get up to STL to see my sons and then make a side trip to see if there is a bike that needs a home.

If it has a 17" front wheel, I was real happy with the Pirrelli Scorpion Trails. Gripped REALLY well on the road and didn't cut on Swinging Bridges. Got through Lost Creek on a Uly with 'em. I got between 7 and 8 thousand miles out of the rears.
