I've been on a few of these rides and if you just "ride your ride" you wont be laughed at to much. Don't worry about speed because the guy in front will be waiting for you at the next turn,and you'll wait for the guy behind you etc. But if you do go down you have to know that every attempt will be made to take a picture . After which assistance will be offered.

But honestly everybody starts somewhere. Every ride I've made here I learned something new,and I met some good people too. I just wanna ride some more rides,and meet more people. Everyone of them have been a memorable experience.

Those big bikes go about anywhere I do! On the SLAP ride I was really impressed with Money's big BMW. He got thru a washout where my DRZ lost her virginity. I got panniers for it but need to make a bracket for them to load her up for a weekend of fun. Got 800 miles on her with 110 at SLAP so waiting impatiently for another DS ride to get on the schedule..

The wife is going to Denver the last week of June with her girlfriends so I will get clearance from the warden and hope to see you all soon!

A snow slide on Gothic Road in Colorado a couple of years ago.

Ground clearance and tires could cause you some problems riding with us. We have pretty reasonable fees for pushing, towing and picking up bikes

Ha, I had only planned on sticking with the gravel roads of Missouri for now, maybe one day I'll tackle the mountain passes of CO.

My old '99 KLR will be getting a new motor this weekend.

It is all ready to install with a few upgrades inside

Hopefully I'll get time to put a few miles on it as well. Ken

i am from western mo but have not problem heading east to meet new riding buddies and try some different roads. thats what it is all about right.

Looks good Ken...Hope all goes well with the maiden voyage. Is that piston oversized?

The hammer's a nice touch - best tool in the shop.

It is a 685 big bore kit from Schnitz Motorsports. The bottom end is from a 2001 that has about 1200 miles on it. At least I didn't put it together on the kitchen table this time

Sheepskin is on order to be sent to the hotel in St. Louis so I hope we have good ride planned for Mark Twain next weekend!

Bout time someone started a MO thread. Good job DRZ.

Maybe sometime in July when it's nice and hot I'll be able to get to do some riding. Till then...

Mike will be in Eminence at that campground all month in July....we can ride down and meet him...maybe take that gravel road west by the gas station we stopped at or revisit those trails we got lost on when we went to Arkansas...
