Been out scouting today again. Found 3 new "slick crick" crossing and one bad-ass hill . After I cut and paste tonight I think I will have a route???. A loop with no back-tracks or crisscrossing. Used some of what we started with and alot of new. (6 days scouting) Don't use that return track from Lestrville I gave you, I hit so many dead-ends after I left you that day it's totaly changed. You must have been my good luck charm we didn't have to turn around once when you where with me.

Yesterday the MTNF and MDC lifted the fire ban. There is no longer an alert on the OSR website so I can assume

I’m pretty well booked with other riding trips and a wedding till December, sorry, so maybe next spring. Anyway I'll do it this week end if your Bill and anyone else wants too. The hard parts done all I need now is riders.

Sounds like a fun ride, but there are 2 things keeping me from going......1) The Leadbelt National Enduro in Park Hills 2) Don't have a bike for that type of ride....the Duc exhaust is too low and the Husky is not street legal :(

Street legal = license plate (the one from the Duc will fit)

Unfortunately I'll be working the enduro all weekend. It's a tough job, riding trails all day, but someone's got to do it.

The weather is looking ideal for this ride, 70's both days, no rain, but chance of rain on Friday to keep the dust down. Doesn't get much better than that. What you got in mind for a start time & location on Saturday morning? BTW, I'll be on the nine-fiddy

Just e-mailed Farrell about this. I was going to start from I-55 and RT “J” cause there is a motel there, but I don’t think that will be needed. I was going to cross the ferry too, but it’s closed because of low water. So I may haul to the start now crossing at Chester, in that case there is better truck parking at 55/32. Both spots are on the course since it’s a loop we don’t miss anything either way. I’m thinking meet at the gas station at the southwest corner of I-55 and RT 32 at 8A.M. Saturday. Where we met before. They have donuts!
