What happened? Was it the hot weather? Everyone sold their bikes? This page of the thread started on Sept 12..

Or has everyone moved to the Harley Forums.. Ha

Will be a great weekend for riding, wish I was able to. Other stuff is keeping me busy. Would be fun to have a fall version of the swinging bridges that followed a different route......two days of riding in the fall basically.

If my son wasn't getting married next weekend.. It should be a great weekend for a trip. But, so should the next several weekends.
I'm going to try and get out a bit. I've been sitting here with two broke down bikes. Not any more..

Next fall there will be. Sieg has put together a stellar route, still making improvements to it as of last week. Look for the Pucky Huddle Breakfast Run next fall . . .

Wildwood, my arm could be twisted for a Saturday ride. . .will either be on the mountain bike or the 950 . .probably weather dependent

Heading your Way

Hey guys,
Just throwin this out there. A group of us from Iowa on Tiger 800xc's and a v-strom are headed though MO, on Friday staying in Eureka Springs, AR that night. Going to do Day 1 of Big Dog Adventures TART ride and then head north from Clinton AR to Rolla MO and then back home via St louie up along the river. Kind of a long weekend, putting on some miles. It there anything we such not miss?

Hey Gnarly!

The better route up through MO is to ride up 19 to Salem and ride 32 east through bixby. From there old 21 is a nice ride north. Take 270 North to bypass East St. Louis and pick up route 3 in IL north and follow the river road signs from there. Wish We could make the ride-in this year. -Ross

Sunday Ride to Bixby, Etc.?

We have a ride started for Sunday, leaving from St. Louis to the Mark Twain and Bixby. It's October, gotta ride! I was planning on just riding twisties but got talked into possibly doing some forest service roads so a D/S bike would probably be in order. You could take a big ADV bike and still have fun but if you want to stay on pavement, bring your road bike. Very cool roads no matter what.

Illinois riders: Meet Sunday at 8 at the Flying J on 15 at 255.

Mo. Riders: We'll meet up with you guys 15 minutes or so later somewhere around St. Anthony's Hospital. I'm not that familiar with the area, but I think there's a quickie mart on the left hand side of 21 not far from where you turn off of 270. Help on location please.

Confirmed:

toondebt11 - Kevin
Rustynut2 - John

Stay safe everyone, eyes on the road not the pretty leaves right? Wife and I are trying Suttons Bluff campground and hope to have a blast. Is Bixby riding distance? I'll check the map and maybe be that way Sunday.

Suttons bluff is a very scenic ride over to Bixby. It's a very nice ride out and back.
