That would be awesome------------nice quiet, smooth, beautiful, gentle hills. Of course we've all been on it on our motorcycles I'm sure.

But this year I got close (not too close) to Nashville and got to see this magnificent bridge on the Natchez.

I say we ride the Ozark Trail for an all nighter...mtn bikes required.....we can stay at Brushy Creek Lodge and they will haul you out so we can ride back. Or even Council Bluff Lake which is a great launching off point for the trail in 3 directions. Most of the trail is easily ride-able and sure is nice being in the woods with some ups and downs....

For those of us that are just a little mechanically challenged. Where do you get your KTMs worked on. I couldn't even change the oil on my LC4. I think it had 2 filters, and you had to add oil with a eye dropper into the frame. I loved that bike though. Never gave me any trouble, and I abused it pretty good.
When ProDirt closed, it ended my KTM days.

I've heard some good things about that 690.. Nice looking bike.

Sorry bout that BigDog.

The guy I bought it from's son actually replied to the ad I posted looking for one and said he would get me pics. Instead of just pics and a price he posted an ad and sent me a link . I was sweat'n bullets till I talked to the Dad

Super, Super, Super nice Guy. Offered to meet me part way and said if I didn't think it was as advertised he'd buy my gas back home, but I already knew that wasn't going to happen

Thanks CamelBill,

Sometimes you get lucky. Maybe we'll cross paths someday

Do they work on the bigger bikes? I thought the only KTM dealers left around would only work on the smaller, "non-street legal" bikes.

Great news Gary! I look forward to riding with you again. It's true...The trail never ends, but the mode of transportation may change!
