Thumbs down

Hello all, total newbie here. I live in St Louis County and would really enjoy getting in contact with other TU riders close by. I only got mine a month ago and am sick as a parrott to see all the snow today - this TU riding is more addictive than Guinness!! : )

Welcome

Welcome to the asylum John! I look forward to riding with you and hoisting a few guinness together.

Not sure if we can get out tomorrow or not, sounds like some significant snow down south, which is where most of the good stuff is.

Could do a short spin around St. Charles County I suppose, unless someone has got some better ideas?

Fast Eddies, I guess it's never too hot for hot coffee, so it's never too cold for a cold beer. So around 11:00?

heading out to Fast Eddies, maybe riverfront riding, rivers are way down, good access point? Illinois side, across from Missouri Riverview Drive, there seems to be a large "dune" area.

Sorry I missed you. I should have had a BIG ADV Flag. I did run in to Rustynut and had a few beverages. I hope to see you all on the trail SOON!

I was there!!! Had a few of the "coldest" ones. Watched the Bears, knew that I had some riding yet to do, looked around, didn't see any familiar faces, Yeah a ADV flag could have helped, even better would be if they let you park your bike at the bar. Maybe next time.

Still thinking this trip through, It is a looooong way down on a XR650. I do have a trailer, is that cheating? By then I will need to do a rear tire swap, 705 Shinko is getting bald, quickly. If anyone else is planning for this trip, put out a list of what you might be packing as far as tent, food, tools, clothes, ETC. I want to be equipped properly, as this would be the longest outing. This would be assuming I would bike down instead of trailering. Thanks!
