Good Eye. Yes it is, it was really standing out in person but was just to far away for my point and shoot to pick out.

So that's the pull-off east of Alto Pass?

Yes, I had to fight hard to resist the urge to ride out on the bluff for a pic

Missiouri Whitewater Championship this weekend

http://missouriwhitewater.org/files/...oster_L1R1.pdf

My wife will be racing and I plan on watching some of it and doing some riding around the area. If anyone wants to join in come on down.

We will be staying at our cabin on the river and there is plenty of tent space and some floor space if you don't mind sharing it with some whitewater trash

I was down there with my wife and daughter the night they had the re-lighting ceremony. On the way home we had fried chicken at Sieg's favorite place in Redbud

His bike looks like an "e" model, which is faster than the "s" model in stock form.

DirtFarmer I'm gonna guess you're a boater since you know about the gauges and know what they mean

I've been running that stretch of river for 26 years

Yea, nothing hairy, mainly class 3 - small sections of 4. Always canoe, solo and tandem. My favorite paddling partner is my wife, and she has done a lot bigger water than I ever thought she would (can't swim, but has taken some big swims).

I have a Mohawk Intrepid set up for downriver with two solo saddles. I should take that down and sell it this weekend.

I had six boats at one time a few years ago. The GoodEarth (wife) & I were paddling in a shit storm, and she was not having a good time. She gave me the death stare and said "The next boat you bring home better have a hell of a lot of power behind it".

Behold the Power Seven

We sold the "Power Seven" last year after 11 good seasons, I should start selling some of my canoes. I still have 5.
