Got back last night. 9,903 miles in 16 days. I'm thinking of doing a RR, there's only been 9,000 Alaska RRs done. Ha
I took 300+ pics. (Mostly from a moving bike.).

Don't think I'd want to, in a car or on a bike. Why the rush Jeff?

time constraints

Did the drive up to denali in 5 days for a job in 2003. 4500 miles one way. Took three weeks to drive back via the scenic routes. All about constraints. I only can schedule a 2 week vacation also.

Jeff, your pics look amazing, can't wait to read your rr as well. Bring on the local adv rrs.

I thought long and hard about the trip.. I can only take two weeks at a time. (and I haven't done a two week vacation in 15 years.)
So, the choice was two weeks, and ride it all, or two weeks and ride a portion of it, or,,, just don't go.. I, of course, went for it all..

FYI, Once I get going, I hate stopping About the only thing I stop for is gas, food, a picture, or a historical marker. Someday, I hope I have the time to try a bit more casual approach, but for now, it's just how it has to be.. (I don't think I could have done it in a car..)

I'll get a RR going, it'll be a few days before I get caught up with work though.. In the mean time..

2:00 AM on the Dalton..

Wow, KTM3. First 2 posts are Kansas insults. These might generate more interesting responses over in the "Kansas riders ?" section.
