My morning though there the fog was bad and I missed all the scenic overlooks I see in others photos.
No suggestions, but we are taking our 2 DR650's for 2 weeks the first week of October to the area.

Quick ride report from LBL200

Gehtlos,Timmy Time and I along with Gehtlos's wife No No Nanet went to the LBL200 this past weekend to ride the event in the Land Between the Lakes.
Kind of a unique event due to riding on the north south hiking biking trail for
A once a year event. 100 riders strong with old school roll chart directions and two fuel stops were the operation of the weekend. Well run event with camping at the Piney campground in northern Tenesse. Fast and flowy are the best way to describe the trail. Some long connectors of gravel and two track
were there but were nice to get some air flow to cool you off before jumping back into the woods and sweating hard in the single track. It was dry but not to terribly dusty. Mud yea we had some of that too. Comparing it to the Show Me 200 ride is a little unfair because show me is such fresh cut trail that sees no action all year long till 2 weeks before the event. I love dual port riding and in 2014 will travel to do other events in the midwest. Ohio, Indiana, Wisconcin
Look good. Thanks Bobby Thomas and crew. Jeffrho

Lbl200

Hey Jeffrho,

I grew up in Fenton, but live in Kentucky now. This was my first LBL200, and I think Bobby said the rider count was closer to 270. I'm pretty sure that's right, cause I counted at least 200 people as they passed me.

Impressive, considering the heat of the day and the size of your bike

I'm hearing nothing but good abou the new water-cooled GS. You liking it? Any impressions compared to the previous version?
