Hey I saw the XR and Tiger at Bixby about 1 PM, who are you? You guys inmates?

BTW I was out scouting for the last couple days and I'm finding some great stuff for a MO./AR. ride I'm planning later this year, kind of a SBR or PHBR thing. Any interest?

100 acre wood

Friend bailed and I decided to put in new subfloor instead. Went riding around 2 down to potosi and around back roads. Got cold and windy fast today, or at least cold with the heated gear. Got in 205 miles today for a ride. Will have to definitely watch next year. Videos online are great.

Sieg, bring on the route. Would love to have more good day long rides.

You should have come and said hi. I was putting the xc to the test. We had a blast chasing them around. I ended up with 334 mile door to door. The cars and drivers were amazing but I had more fun getting to the different places to watch.

That would have been us too. The V-strom had just split. If you want some company when you go let me know. I would love to learn some more of these roads. I'm just kind of fumbiling around now but I'm learning. I've decided to not use the GPS as mutch and use the map I got from the forest department.

you guys should recognize these roads. I had 4.5 hours of video I narrowed down to 7:02 minutes. I think we had more fun getting to the different stages than actually watching them.

100 acre rally

I went down to check out the race and ended up just riding instead. I saw several KLR's running around and I talked to a guy on a new DR, it was a great day to get out of the house.

Nice HD video John. Watch them low water bridge crossings when the weather warms up and the moss starts growing, they will put you on your butt faster than you can blink Most dangerous thing out there IMHO

What are you using to edit videos? I have hours of footage, but haven't taken the time (or too stupid ) to edit it!

I also had an awesome weekend of riding. Bring on Spring!!!

I use windows live movie maker. There is so much more I could do if I took the time to actually learn how to use it. I just do a basic edit.

Amen to that. My cousin found that out the hard way with his xc with k60 scouts. Snot covered crossing and adventure bikes don't mix well.

Jealousy

Man do I envy you guys getting out to ride! I'm stuck in commuting mode (although I'm creeping toward the break in on the GSA) right now.

I love to see all of the trails I've been missing while crushing asphalt.

Anyone ever taken part in the Gateway GS Challenge? Is it a worthwhile intro to ADV riding?

Do go, Hans will give you an initiation you'll never forget.
