Yeah these bikes are an endless love affair!

Love affair

Im on my way from sydney to datwin to get my hp2 and ride it home, 3,500kms of me and my bike, its funny , yep its a peice of metal but its like going to meet my friend, i love this bike , ive changed forks , tank, clutch and brake assemblys , bash plate, rims, rear shock , exhaust system and head protectors and air filter plus other things, it just gets better. My last but not least will be something that makes the throttle less notchy at low speed. Still all in all , its a love affair..

Il Pres,

Does your HP2 have the original aluminum rear subframe? This is the unit that the seat screws into, also your tail-light hangs off it.

From your photo is looks like the rear end of your seat is bent-down a bit. I'm guessing that rear subframe is somewhat bent.

It's made out of a soft aluminum.

Nice bike, Joe! Post 2 vs 3 are one of those "what's different between these two?" games. I spot a different headlight and your right foot off the peg.

There's a separate thread for the HP2 Megamoto, in the Road Warriors forum:

You may get more megamoto-specific love there.

Looks like some great NH riding there. I used to live in Cambridge, and I'd head up to NH when I wanted some twisty mountain roads.

HP2 Enduro leaned over

Joe, that HP2 Enduro in post #3424 is leaned over pretty good. I think I see a single-side brake, and the original Enduro forks slid up in the triple clamps about 30mm or so?

Here the are a few videos from a recent trip through Utah.

The first one is on famous Top Of The World trail in Moab. We ran this trail as a side trip as we rode the Kokopelli Trail and where both loaded for 2 weeks of camping. It's a little long and boring but for anybody wondering if you can ride this trail with an adventure bike it gives a good idea of what to expect.

The second video is of a tough spot after we dropped into Beef Basin near Canyon Lands Utah

Did you hit that branch? Strange how even a harmless looking branch can catch one out if hit at an angle ....
