Bmw F650
guess this is a thumper question. What is considered too many miles on one of these looking at one with 46K. How many miles can one expect out of these and what would a complete rebuild cost if needed?

50,000 miles should be getting close to it's 1/2 life.

I had a 99
I had a 99 with 42,000 miles on it. Ran Like a top. I sold it in Portland, OR. The guy I sold it to then took it accross Canada then back down to Maine.
I have not heard from him for a while but last time he called he had just taken it down to FL. and back up to Maine. I would assume it should be good for 100-150k miles. Go to www.f650.com and see what they have to say.

42k on a BMW if650 sn't much. 100k isn't that much. Ask this question on F650.com and give Flash a laugh.
