Well I just got done adding some more items that I think are worth mentioning so here it goes..

> First is the Screaming Meanie 220. In case you aren't familiar with these demons of volume they are a 120 decible timer and alarm clock.

Not only are they great if you do any kind of Long Distance Rallies but they work out great if you are on a trip and have some friends that aren't morning people .

> Next are some new items from Powerlet:
> And finally, Motorcycle Electrical Systems Troubleshooting and Repair Book for all of the Do-It-Yourselfers that want to have a better understanding of how the bikes electrical system works, including adding accessories (without releasing the magic smoke).

For a short time if you buy the Electrical Systems Troubleshooting book along with a Centech AP-1 Accessory Fuse Panel you'll get 10% off the total price of both items.

That's it for not but more to follow of course.

Just wanted to say I purchased a Powerlet heated liner from Hotspice and he went out of his way (on his own accord) to make sure it was shipped quickly to my frozen hide.

Thanks man!

I also just took delivery of the new Centech AP-2 fuse block. It's the same size as the AP-1 but now has two circuits. One circuit is for switched power and one is for constant power.

That means that with one fuse block you can run accessories that you want to power off when you switch the bike off AND the accessories that you want to stay on when you turn the key off.

It still has 8 circuits controlled by 5 fuses but now 2 of them control the three unswitched outputs while the other 3 fuses control the 5 switched outputs.

We also have the Centech AP-130R Relay kit if you don't want to make your own relay kit.

Lets start 2008 off right

New Year, New Gear to get the ball rolling.

I've just added Condor Motorcycle Stands and Wheel Chocks to my list of products. In case you aren't familiar with their products they make the best wheel chocks/stands out there (remember, i'm biased ) .

These stands can be used on all types of bikes and I've got number of picures under each stand to show examples. Right now I don't have the scooter stand listed but I'll be adding that shortly.

A couple more DVD's are being added to the selection also.

One is the Throttle Days Dual Sport Adventure.

It's a fun, entertaining look at normal guys (brothers) taking on part of the Trans American Trail for an adventure. They don't have a lot of dirt experience or top of the line bikes but they have a good time doing it.

Nope, this kit contains the hardware/wiring needed to connect back to the battery. It allows you to have non/canbus wired plug at the front of the bike.

Next up is the Spot Personal Messenger / Tracker.

This handy device uses satellite communication to help you track your route, check in with a friend or loved one, or call for help in the event of an emergency. Since it uses satellite communictions you don't have to rely on being able to get cell phone reception which we call know can be very spotty in remote locations.

A very good thread here at ADV is located at http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282391 .

Another new addition this month is the Gerbing Battery Powered Heated Gloves and the Gerbing Battery Powered Heated Vest Liner .

Both the gloves and the vest run on rechargeable 7.4v Lithium batteries. The gloves will give you between 3-10 hours of heating depending on the setting and come with a cool little squeege to clean off your goggles or face shield.

The vest will give you between 4-10 hours on a charge. The vests are even adjustable so they can get larger or smaller with you over the holiday feeding frenzy or as your winter stores get depleted .

Both of these can be used for electrically challenged bikes, ice-fishing, working outdoors, staying warm at the last Packer playoff game , and I'm sure a bunch of other things where you want head but don't have power.

These have been very popular so I've only got a few sizes in right now but more are expected shortly.
