So you now the story. We were a perfect broken back mountain style triple for almost 3 months. But when we arrived to Magadan and that Mirek didn twant to try to contininue the trip the was no more love between motosiberia members :(

We faught maybe food and alkohol can change it so we tried all the places in magadan. There is a greate restaurant with chinees food there.

... but it didnt help.

So i decided to go for a ride to Omsukchan (600km from Magadan). It was the last city on our way north (chukotka) and its the point were the road really ends. I did not change the oil, tyres, didn took the boat - just wanted to get there.

Safran and Mirek stayed in Magadan and were packing bikes and looking for a plane to moscow.

Magadan:

Since Jakuck we were a bit obsessed about bears. Almost all people we met were saying: "You know in winter its -60 celsius here. And in summer there is plenty of killer bears. What? You dont have a gun?"

We had even a lesson given by the hunting inspector on how to kill a bear. So when the bear attacks you it goes in your dircetion on 4 legs like a dog. Then when its near you it stands on 2 (rear;) legs with the hands up (grrrrrrrrrrrr).
When he is in this position you have to hit the bear with a knife into his heart.
Thats the theory at least.

So I was on this road to omsukchan when I see smth brown 80 meters from me. I stop and here it is. With all this stories about bears I got quite excited.

He looks at me and starts to walk in my direction. First I want to take my video camera from my backpack put if he would start running I would have problems to put it back. So I just take my small photocamera and then he turns from the road and dissapears...

...but then he appears when crossing a dry river and I can shoot him for 5 min with my video camera. Beatifull and huge beast. When I think about him standing on 2 feat in front of me and me trying to rich his chest with a knife - maybe not such good idea, probably a quick blow job would be better;)

...then I ve started to have problems with the carb (the fix form Irkuck stopped working) but somehow I have arrived to omsukchan. A bit depressing place, everybody were completly drunk. Met some frindly guys from the police who told me thet it would be better if I leave the bike in their garage.

Talked to few peaple about whats next. Some people were saying "thats it, you cant go even 1km more north", others "ok, maybe you can make 20km but then there is a river". They told a story about kamaz drivers who did not make to get back this year, the winter road melt down and they got stuck for 2 months in the tajga untill they where rescued by helicopters.
This time I want find out how far can I get on an enduro bike with a small boat. Maybe another time...

Just had a look whats behinde the corner...

The bike had to be in a box - it was send as motorcycle parts. The box itself was about 60kg.
