it's too far north for me too but isn't the cb650 a four carb/four cylinder/four exhaust header bike like the cb750's? That looks like a cb350 motor but I don't know all that much about those late 70's and early 80's Hondas. That small motor just doesn't look like a 650 to me.. But at $250 it doesn't matter what it is; the bike is a good deal if it's running..

Hey Al,
I saw that and thought the same thing... Honda didn't make a 650 parallel twin in '82. They had the venerable CX layout for the mid size twins... Upon second look, you can see the #2 header pipe at the head and where it enters the exhaust. Its just a straight on shot of one fourth of a 650 or what would be a 325 twin if it was a twin. Man those cylinders look too straight up by todays multi angle standards. |

The Honda was sold about an hour ago.
I was kinda bummed as I would have fixed that up for the girl and taught her to ride it. Oh well. |

Source for a DR/RM fork swap.
http://maine.craigslist.org/mcy/3450556195.html 2002 RM 250 - $500 (Auburn) Date: 2012-12-02, 4:37PM EST Reply to this post f9nqx-3450556195@sale.craigslist.org[?] I just got this RM250 in a trade. It needs a piston, so it's seized right now. I don't know much about dirtbikes, it's not really worth it to me to fix. Apparently it has a lot of good parts on it. FMF pipe, DID chain, etc. I'm asking $500 OBO or trade for a high-end cell phone, tablet, or laptop. I can be reached at 207-xxx-xxxx call/text/email. Location: Auburn it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests |
