I had a 70's Imperial 4 door, it was huge. Broke down and it was so long, especially past the rear wheels, that the tow truck could only lift the front wheels barely off the ground before the rear would scrape!

I know that stretch of road...skinny two lane back then. Crazy bastid! You must have been on a beer run to New York!

Not that I have ever done anything like that

OK, can't resist jumping in here.... Mine was a purple Gremlin X with a 5L V8 and I was also known to smoke a few tires through my high school parking lot. The thing sounded like a monster and was quite a sleeper. Saw quite a few unsuspecting firebirds and cameros in my rear view mirror...

You must mean when you passed a Firebird or Camaro, parked in a parking lot, right???

And apologies to my fellow Inmates for continuing the "banter" and not posting a good "Find" for you all --- Sorry, but I just couldn't resist

A guy in my hometown when I was in high school had one with an extended front end and a 426 hemi in it, if you can imagine.

And

RRM707 followed up with, "I was going to say the same thing!" (Sorry, I haven't learned the Post multiple "Quotes" trick yet...)

Have you guys ever heard of this cool new thing, Google Maps???

Oxford, CT to Newark, NJ: 1hr 46min

Fairfield, CT to Newark, NJ: 1hr 17min

I flew from NJ to Raleigh, NC to buy my '09 Husky TE610... (Granted, it was set up just how I wanted it --- Safari tank, Renazco Racing seat, Rekluse clutch, etc. etc. etc. --- these bikes, set up like this, are usually out West, so it was worth it --- to me, anyway )

Just sayin', that if you're REALLY even remotely in the market for a sweet, pristine lookin' ride like that Kathoom 450EXC, it would certainly be worth an hour and a half ride down and back --- No????????

"Doh!!!" CO-or-bust (Yup, that's me...), have you ever heard of reading things closely??? I had glanced over the CL link on my phone and got thrown off by the "(Newark)" in the title and he said something about a "NYS title since I've owned it", which in my quick phone scan somehow translated to me as, "since I've moved", thinking he was clarifying his NYS title for a bike in "Newark, NJ" (see, the PHONE is smart, not always the User)... Just to clarify, it WAS in Newark, NY near Rochester and yup, 5 hours away from the boys in CT (I checked on this cool new thing called Google Maps...). It's already Sold too --- too bad. NICE bike... Okay, time to open mouth insert foot (or maybe both feet - one for Purch23 and one for RRM707) Man! This "Asshat" is really not comfortable to wear.......

Yeah... About $1k too high, I think.

Nice, clean-looking bike, though.
