So a big thank you to everyone, especially for turning up

What's next? Watch the 'Europe' section for next year, and even possibly a winter event. Anyone with a good idea, please lead on

*I think its inevitable we will return to Rhayader again, because of the possibilities at so many levels, but thats for future planning*

Looks like a lot of fun that you had. Wish I could have attended. Then I would have shown you ..... .

So, how's that with the next year's meeting. Anybody starting a thread, any ideas?? Maybe Slovenia, Croatia, Romania??? Or Giorgio again?

Slovenia might be quite cool. Although it's a feckin long ride from Blighty.

Its not too bad, 2 days if you push it, maybe a third night for the ferry home. Its very lovely tho.

16h30 driving, 1600km, so what about 2 550mile days? Giorgio's do was 1000miles door to door for me.

Slovenia

I did the Dracula rally in Romania this year (did it last year)--went via France, Germany, Austria down past the Bodensee and then into Slovenia (and then Croatia, Hungary and finally Romania). Bled is nice, as is the small bit of coast they have--I like Slovenia. I got back in three days from Romania so its possible if you just keep going (640KTM adventure).

I've started cooking.
Road ride (scenic), big trailbike ride (a bimbling test) and a pogo ride (brace yourselves).
Camping for 40 ish attendees and restaurant for the same number, fuel and beer are all in the ingrediants.
Looking at the end of April 2008, North Wales venue (should entice some more Irish riders over).
I'm in discussion with folk, and we need to recce some venues....... the knowledge of the green lanes already exists!

An ADVrider thread will be posted here when dates and info becomes available.

Timpo.

Plans.. and hatchlings..

Well, yep we are at it again.. the same old bunch of missfits are now into planning for next years round of events..

Timpo, came up with north wales as an alternative to midwales in the landrover on the way home, and I seconded it. So we are hatching plans.. or should I say.. Timpo is hatching plans and we are just trying to keep up..

Anyhow.. dates to follow for event four will follow shortly, but its April 2008 at present...

If anyone is still thinking of some winter fun around rhayader, i have the details for a camping barn with drying facilities and secure parking, acouple of miles out of town... pm me for the details..

Timpo.

I'm really disappointed that I missed this last event and have had to use the lame excuse that my leg was badly swollen. It really sound as if you all had a great time.

The North Wales event next year sounds great.
Could this be a chance for Adventure Riders to be introduced to the motorway

Don't worry Loz, I'll help lift your bike out as usual and you shouldn't taste the beer too much in your shandy
I hope you shoulder is better soon, I've just had 3 weeks of no biking and that has been bad enough.
