Who wants a Submount Damper Kit for thier Husky 610?

I am trying to get Colin of Stenhouse Racing to fabricate us a submount for the 610 and I need to get some valuable input. First we need to see what number of interest there is so sign in if you are interested. Second we need to decide on design parameters. I think if he fabricates it similar to his 640 mount we could have different riser heights which would give the more options in ergos. I would really like the option of different clamp offsets as well to position the bar forward for aggressive riding or back for seated comfort. Please chime here in as I am also going to crosspost this thread to TT and other forums but since Colin resides in this forum we should keep the discussion here. Thanks for the input guys now lets get this done .

Dan

P.S. For the Submount you will have to run the IMS aftermarket tank And be able to get the Scotts Tower Pin to fit as I have in the Picutre below; or come up with another Tower Pin solution which I feel is going to be difficult considering both Scotts and BRP have yet to...

I'm in. Motosportz has something in the works too. PT is almost there. But I'd be very interested in a turn key product. It's all about plug and play with me. I don't want to put anything on the bench grinder.

Colin is a good dude too. I bought his risers when I had my SixPhoty.

Is there any stabilizer options already available, I will go for it too, but what I would really like to see is a fender mount to keep center of gravity low. Now if nothing could be had I would definitly get a submount.

So how would this mount kit look like? Someone over on SMJ fabricated his own submount steering damper. If there seriously a kit coming out. Then i might just pulled my ebay auction on my scotts damper.

I am trying to get a Submount built. If you can get a Tower Pin to work with the aftermarket IMS tank, as I have, then the Submount is all you will need. Are you saying you bid on the Damper on Ebay or that it is your Damper listed?

I am thinking the Lowmount won't be a good option as we have Headlights to contend with and I use a tube bag on the fender...It would be a last resort but I am still curious if the lowmount is an option...

I ordered a PTenduro Clamp to determine if it will work or not. He does not list a 610 clamp on his site but we'll see what's what...

Well I can't say, I am working on getting a solution for us but I think at this point the Tower is the hardest part of it and I don't know if anyone is going to come up with a fix for it using the stock tank. I can only assume the IMS will work for others but until someone tries to install one I won't know...

I have a line on that guy and am waiting to hear from him...hoping he can build the tower pin for those that can't get the Scotts Pin to work...

Well I just got off the phone with Pete,
he had been on vacation...
He does make a Submount Clamp for the 610's ,
He should have them done later in the week and ship them first of next week.
You will still need to modify Tower Pin to get it to fit; or alter how the IMS is installed. Here is a pic sent by another member showing the new IMS tank and how he had to machine the Scotts Pin to allow clearance for the tank:

Keep in mind when installing your IMS tank that you will need as much clearance as you can get between the tank and the Tower and you might get away without having to grind the Tower...

Dan

p.s. I will add this thread to the Index...

sorry for stupid question, but I'm afraid that's the only kind I know how to ask

anyway, why do you feel you need a stabilizer on this bike?
