Cool2 4th of July ride

We kept stopping at these Waffle Houses and taking each others pictures. ( I cannot figure out where we got an idea like that.)
Start- SR 54

Glenn, Thanks for breakfast.

Next I showed Glenn where the Monday night bike night is for Wesley Chapel, FL in front of the Beef O'Bradeys by Old Pasco Road and SR 54.
Then we fould this dirt road.

We where overtaken while stopping to take a picture by a Dixie rider, Glenn talked to him.

Ah, the Waffle House on SR 52.

My turn.

Found some curvey roads. My favorite, Bayhead Road.
Then this road.

Then we found wet pavement. And storms.

So Glen heads for home.
I surmized that the rain had already passed here going East.

I headed towards the rain towards another What? Waffle House.
Actully the only rain I got into was not from the skys but from the trees overhanging Spring Lake Road. Just a sprinkle as you rode under the trees.
Feeling somehow Glenn and I where missing someone I pushed on to the last Waffle House on SR 50.

Having arrived there by 11:05 am there is still time to ride.
As I arrived the sun came out.
I needed more riding so I went of towards my other favorite paved area roads.

Ah, the countryside.

One thing that kept my confidence high, even on wet pavemtment are my IRC GP1 tires. They are great on dry pavement and really good on wet.
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July riding or not.

Cool2 Thanks Gadget Boy

I think that the riding will have to wait a bit.
God is blessing the parts of the Sunshine State with some badly needed rain right now. Heavy thunderstorms.
