pig barge, got it

The only BMW bike plastic keys I know of are for EWS bikes, and these keys contain transponders.

Maybe Honda was jamming you?

Dave, I never said you didn't help on occasion, but your occasional condescending attitude is indicative of BMW many dealers I have delt with.

Think it is just me, ask around.

This thread is WAY too personal.

Apologies are in order.

I'd suggest the antagonists start 1st.

Point is, many dealers simply do not care about the customers, except what they can get out of them.

That said, I know a couple dealers who would go to bat for the customer, and who would stand up and ask the hard questions of BMW, and have.

Exactly Jim! As I have said in the past, there is no other business like the motorcyle business---basically a bunch of guys who at one point liked to ride and then figured out a way to scratch out a modicum of a living doing it. In most case there is little acknowledgement of the expectations of customer service and a high level of customer disdain to boot. Hard to imagine any other buisness surviving in the current customer focused business environment that exist today (excepting airlines of course ). Think about it---how many other businesses would you drop 20 grand with so little satisfaction. It's all about competition--or the lack of.

Fekking girls. Sell your bike and buy another brand if you don't like BMW.

Go to post 1270 page 85 Dave and see the misfortune of my never tested spare ring ending in 463. It failed also!

Sorry DaveT I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

Jim

PS But I have to add that I think it sucks that we can bash on BMW, dealers, and bikes all day long, but as soon as we make a similar comment and a Inmate dealer's feelings get hurt, some get huffy about it, usually the ones being jerks the rest of the time.

Jim,

This is the first time I'll take the other side from yours. He doesn't owe us a damn thing. At times he has given us good info that he could have withheld.
Who the hell are we to ask anything of him? If I were his customer, I might be in a position to ask for his help...but you and I are not.

Some of the other posters were even more out of line, so this isn't just for you. I will add that I am not one who is a jerk most of the time.
