You should have bought one when they were only $130.00.

You knew you would some day need one.

They always fail.

You'd be ahead $20.00.

I got one with a dripping grommet. $150 is a bit much to stop a drip.

They have a new grommet now, I bet if you contacted them they would send you one. I mentioned on a post over at TT once about a charge coil going out on a Ricky. I wasn't complaining, I was happy to buy another since it had lasted longer than the original did and it did not make me walk. Anyway, the people at Ricky saw the post and said if I sent it in to them they would replace the stator, which I thought was more than generous since it had lasted longer than the original.

I always think of this Tommy Boy line anytime I see a warranty on a shoddy product...

Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of shit. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I've got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.

It's either I buy the POS, or have my bike sit around for another month to get the money. And by the time I get the money, my wife will find something "important" to spend it on, I gotta be quick before she gets it.

Is there a high temp engine paint that matches the 86-87 red? I am considering gray/silver like XRL too. Probably easier just to paint it red.

Mine isn't an exact match but I was painting the whole motor so I looked for a close color and went with a duplicolor called Chrysler red. Probably explains why it then later blew the head gasket...
