IMHO, the Staintune's sound the best and they seem to be very well built. I had Remus GP aluminum cans fisrt and thought they sounded kinda "tinny" like an old VW. I replaced them with Two Brother's Racing cans and was happy with the sound and performance, but I bought them before I heard and saw the Staintunes.

Talking Leo Vince

I had Staintunes on my '05 DL1000 and liked them. I just bought an '06 and when I checked on Staintunes... they had gone up to almost $1,000.00 Too rich for my blood. I called Jamie at Fuel/Moto, who does Power Comanders and exhausts. He sells several different exhaust systems for VStroms, but he recommended Leo Vince's for the best sound, performance and quality. I bought his "Power Package", which includes the two Leo Vince slip-ons, a Power Comander and air filter, all for $749.00. I'm supposed to get them the end of this week. His website http://www.fuelmotousa.com/

That's a great package price. We just put a Leo Vince (Vin-chay!) on Tina's SV650, and it sounds great and improves the throttle response.

My Remus Grand Prix carbon fiber pipes are awesome. They are much lighter than stainless. And they have the advantage that if you touch them, you won't burn yourself.

Carbon fiber, baby!

Call Jamie at Fuelmoto USA. com

He may still have Leo's for $400 plus shipping.

Best price I've seen.

Get a PCIII from him too.

It CHANGES the bike!!!

I installed LV's, PC3 and K&N and had a custom map created on a dyno by a certified tuner. Mileage went down but power and smileage went way-up. The Leonardo's also have removable baffles. A must as far as I am concerned. On long multi-day rides it's nice to quiet the bike to reduce fatigue. The pipes remain cool to the touch like carbon fiber -Much cooler and lighter than stock.

Don't get the luggage hot and look good back there too.

I cant believe im the only one thats throwing a vote out for Dale Walker Hole-shots.........great deep sound, but not too loud when just cruising....only loud when on the throttle hard.

I put a Dale Walker on my old Bandito 1200 and they sounded great and worked very well. So, when I got a DL650, I put one on that. Sounded a little tinny (Truthfully, did not like the sound at all, although when rung out hard it sounded sweet.), but the fit and finish was first rate. Price was good, but I haven't heard or seen the liter version.
