Camarillo, California - Rides

New to this forum. Glad to be here. Just picked up an '04 DRZ400s with 241 miles for 3.5K. Sweet bike.

Looking for trails in or around Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura, Thousand Oaks - California. Any suggestions? Are there any printed or online guides/maps I can turn to? Thanks for your input.

There are one or 2 trails in the los padres out of Ojai. Map and permit at the Ojai ranger station. They won't exactly welcome you with open arms though. You can head east to SCD or santa clarita / gorman. Otherwise go over the hill to Ballinger or ride some of the roads above and behind Santa Barbara.

There's alot of cool riding around the 33 highway in Ojai, Fillmore offers some basic riding along Goodenough Road, there's alot of illegal stuff that's fun (although I wouldn't really know about it), otherwise Santa Barbara (which is all burned out now) has over 200 miles of fireroads that start at Oso campground off of Paradise Road, e-mail me and ride along with us sometime if you wanna check it out.
