3 Daughters, youngest is my riding buddy

Great to see all the dads and daughters that enjoy riding together, I'm lucky enough to have 3 and tho they all enjoy riding with me, only the youngest, now almost 16, has shown interest in riding her own. She started riding an XR80R that I picked up from a neighbor about 4 years ago and has ridden my XR250 a few times and loves it...she thinks I should buy a 400 or bigger and give it to her...can't say that I disagree Going to sign her up for the MSF course and get her license this spring, perhaps we'll do some of the TAT this summer. She's traveled to some rally's with me over in AL and the Georgia Mountain Rally a couple times...a good traveler!

Great post idea!

Cheers,

My granddaugter loves the bikes

My granddaughter lovers to sit on the bikes and cries when I leave on them. She calls me Bumpy and every time a bike goes by she asks "bumpy home"?

Her younger sister turns 8 this year and will get her first ride this summer - my wife will not be happy . My wife is great by the way, she's just scared to death of having her babies on a bike.

Start them young by time they are 5 they think they are Evil Knevil and by the time they are 12 its cell phones and freinds. This is where I am at tryed to talk Allie into going to the 07 MOA Rally and it was a no go and in Sept Mattie rolled the quad and took 20 stitches to face. Looking for some good riding gear for kids for the up comming season...

My youngest daughter. She's going to try to get into a motorcycle program in college. When she graduates next year, I may have a Buell Blast waiting for her.

My almost 8 year old daughter has only been on three short rides with me so far. I'm hoping to talk her into a weekend trip to the Texas hill country in the spring time to see the wild flowers in bloom.[IMG][/IMG]

Those bloody quads are more dangerous than a bike. Maybe they can spare a kid some minor bruises and scrapes hed get in a lowspeed fall on a bike, but when a quad does flip it usally ends ugly...
