I was outside taking pictures with my new camera. My neighbor came out, and we started talking.. (A very common occurence) A few minutes later, his almost 3 year old daughter came out for a kiss goodnight. I jumped at the opportunity for a candid shot.

It came out so well, I had it printed at a local camera shop, and framed for them as a gift. They now have it hanging on their wall.

Well, fellas...and girls...I haven't gotten one single thing accomplished since I began reading this wonderful thread! I am fortunate to have been given four daughters. Current ages are 29, 27, 24 and 22. All of them have ridden with Dad at least once. Oldest used to ride to school with me, but when two were in school, the bike got sold.

Currently, #2 daughter would love to learn to ride, but she doesn't have a bike. Well, perhaps I'll have to give her one...I have a 1982 CB450SC NightHawk sitting in the garage! She takes after her mother, and truly enjoys riding pillion behind Dad.

Thanks, people, for all the wonderful pics and stories! Now, maybe I'll get something done!

That's a keeper. Well done, Dad.

Daughters?

Mine is turning thirty, I'm 59 and she has asked me to help her find a bike so we can spend some time and ride togeather. Life is full of surprises.

So I took my three year old daughter with me on a parts run to the motorcycle shop. While there I sat her on a PW50 to try it out for size. She can't quite reach the ground with both feet, so I told her that maybe we would get her one when she got a bit bigger. She looks at me with a sincere and confident look, points at this:

, and says "No, I am going to get one of THOSE when I get bigger."

Man, I love this thread. I can't wait 'til my wee one is old enough to ride with me. Very soon I think. A bit later her mother thinks!
