Here's my daughter coming home from the hospital last night. Her older brother (he's 6) and I had our first outing on the bike a couple weekends ago. We didn't know if it was going to be a boy or a girl but I'm soooo happy to have my girl now!!!!

It's going to be a bit before I can get a proper riding pic here but we'll be back.

Great Pic and congrats!! I have that same picture of my daughter somewhere. I remember strapping her in to that car seat and just pausing to watch her. Outside the car Tropical Storm Gabriel was just finishing up I I'd never felt so protective of anything in this world. Perhaps the single best moment of my life to that point. Enjoy the next few years because they go fast.

That's actually at Lions wilderness park, though we do crawl in chokecherry at brown springs as well.

Riding the Rockies

This is the best pic from our June 08 trip through CO, WY, MT, and ID. Taken from the overlook of Medicine Bow Peak on the Snowy Range Highway in southcentral Wyoming. My 11 year old and I put on 1,500 miles in 6 days through some of the best riding country in the US.

This Dads and Daughters section is fantastic!

This is from a couple of years ago, near the top on the 2820 road in Oregon. Met up with some neat folks over at Wolf Rock that day. Now she is 13 and rides an NX250. But she still likes riding pillion with dad. We're planning a multi-day trip together this summer.

Wow! I'm so happy to have found this thread.

April and I just finished 680 miles in 3 days; about 120 on dirt. She was a real trooper. I'll be sure to show her this thread.
