My daughter is 13 now and two years ago was so opposed to me getting a bike that it was a concern. Now she is asking for a ride. I think she sees how much I enjoy riding that she is curious as to what is going on. I have been a little hesitant, but after reading this thread I am getting her a helmet on Saturday.
Excellent thread! |

Hi guys..
Just wanted you to know about a little adventure I had with my girl this past weekend. I don't want to post about it twice, so I thought I'd just post this link. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=360243

Just taught the 11 month old to say "vroom" when she sees a motorbike. It comes out as "wrum!" but is still cute as hell. Needs no coaching, she just belts it out

Fun thread! So far our rides are all on bicycles, but there is an XL75 sitting in the garage waiting
Both girls do love sitting on my big bikes and making motorcycle sounds though, here's my youngest on the EX last week right before it's new owner came over to pick it up. She was the last one in our family to 'ride' it. |

Great thread, my daughter is 11 now and is a little jealous of me & her mother taking little trips around the state so I'm looking forward to the time she and I might have a ride. She's still daddy's girl, but those days don't last forever so I'm enjoying them before she turns 16 and I embarrass her!

Wow! 48 pages and 719 posts later, I just had to share a few photo of my favorite riding partner. Our Nikki-Doodle started riding around 6 and now at 20years old, it’s all I can do to keep her in sight out on the trail. We’re about to embark on a new adventure called Dual Sport Bikes.

Thanks for the warm welcome Putts. This thread really hits home and family.
We all grew up riding together back in the 60’s and 70’s and really want to share this tradition with the next generation of riders too. |
