My "Biker Babe" Alyssa and my 'new to me' '97 R1100RT. I don't know who was more excited about daddy's new motorcycle--her or me!

She got the first ride!

My 4 year old daughter (in the sidecar) and six year old son all ready to ride with daddy on my Venture with a Flexit sidecar. This was more fun than they could imagine! With the full intercom we could all talk together and I could hear them yell "Go faster! Go faster!

We never went over the speed limit out on country roads. The kids enjoyed the ride but they really wanted to just go back and forth from side to side--kind of S-turning along the road. The FlexIt side car leaned as far as the bike would and to them it was better than a carnival ride!

This Venture and FlexIt now live in St. Paul, Minnesota with someone who uses it a lot more than I ever would. It was just too big for me and wasn't really fun to ride. I really liked the Venture without the side car and would have kept just the bike, but they are a matched set so I sold them together. I was fun for the two years I had it but I love my R1100RT! The kids still ride with me a lot, just one at a time. We ride in search of the perfect root beer float!

Every time I see this thread I have to stop and read 10 or 20 pages, and there isnt a dry eye for hours.
Glad I have mine in here.

That's almost indescribably sad. What a tragic occurrence. I'm phoning my daughter now.

Yeah. Wow.

CaeliBug and I cuddled and watched Curious George tonight while Mom was at work. I need to do this more often.

I'll add my oldest. She's been the most interested in the motorcycles so far. We've just gotten into the DS thing. She has a KLX110 with tall seat. She has taken several riding classes at the local indoor arena-cross place.
Here are some of my favorite pics, which have been the basis of several speeches for school for her.

A very special day that we got all access passes to 2006 Seattle SX for my birthday. We got to walk the track and go the the riders meeting. At the finish line of the track we met our favorite rider. He was extremely gracious and my daughter acted like a love struck little girl....

2007 Seattle SX. Not really a Chad Reed fan, but several of my riding buddies bleed blue...

Open your eyes! 2007 Seattle SX

Honda autograph session before the 2005 Washougal MX. Rickey kicked tail that weekend.

Best trip ever !!!!

Best trip I've ever done is when my daughter turned 15.
We traveled from Oaxaca, our hometown,
to Mazatlán - La Paz - L.A. - S.F. - Las Vegas - San Antonio - Oaxaca.
Three weeks and 7,000+ mi.

That trip was better than my honeymoon !!! (Don't tell my wife).

Here we go !!!

Ferry Mazatlán - La Paz

Cabo San Lucas

La Paz

Baja California

Twin Peaks, S.F.

G.G. Park

Sausalito

G.G. Bridge

Yosemite

Las Vegas

Grand Canyon

She's the love of my life... for sure !!!
