The time for that suggestion was at least two weeks ago. But I like it for the next dinner.

Exit 58? Hwy 13 & I-95. That maybe the way Webe and I will be going back. We plan to hit the adventurous route out of Kinston and ride back the main highway / interstate in the dark. Deer are my only fear this time of the year. I past an eight pointer standing on the side of the road last night. Luckily he sat put because he was a biggin and that would have hurt.

Yea, exit 58 is also "future" route 295 which goes to 421, then straight into either Fayetteville or Lillington. Or you could take 13 and go towards Clinton(I think it says, never pay that much attention).

Can't make it. The 15th is a wedding reception and 2 different Christmas parties for the wife and I... also the night before our 7 year anniversary.

NC-13 heads towards Newton's Grove where we catch NC-55 toward Mount Olive and then on to Kinston. It's a nice ride. I know we need rain, but it could wait until Sunday. Right now the weather is calling for 30-40% chance of rain and temps from 60F down to 33F.

My retarded ass just realized this is a SATURDAY!

I am sure I will be tooling around on the RobCo Trail that day. I am sure I will ride all the Way to Maxton and back. I found a few more paths off the main trail. NOTHIN like Uhwarrie, lots of mild sand and slippery pine needles.
Easy dirt roads, amd parts of the new unopened I-74. IT is fairly easy, almost too easy.

If anyone wishes to ride it, then go to dinner, I will open my House for cleaning up etc. I live about 5 miles from the trail and the same to the Texas.

Just post your lcoation. I would love to come up and shoot the shit and have a few beers, even though I don't think an old airhead with full fairing is a sand bike.

So yer telling me that an HD and one HD fully decked out can make it and you can't..... ?

Yer prolly right, specially some of the parts of the trail.

From I-95/hwy 74 junction there are some whoops that go for a mile at a time. I am usually through them in 1.5 to 2 minutes

Will you allow me to come in a car? Still no bike yet! It looks like it will be after the first of the year before I get another one.
I will be there as long as my wife feels ok. The doctors have started her on some new medications for her Chrohn's diease. She will be getting 2 injections that morning. If she is OK with watching the kids I'm there.
