You guys are lucky to have gotten snow. All we got was 2 inches of ice here on the coast. It sucked for sure!

So I decided to ride to work Wednesday. I left and thought, "I have plenty of time before the snow starts". I ran a few errands, and then decided to pick up Char-Grill for my mother for dinner. The snow started while I was pulling into the lot on Edwards Mill. This guy was really interested in my Hippo Hands, and wanted a set for his Harley.

Five minutes after this shot, I went down for the first time on this bike. It was a slow speed "whoops" trying to stop at a stop sign on a downslope.

I was power-walking/paddling along the sidewalks the 3 miles home and had another minor dump. This just isn't something we see here often.

I couldn't get up my driveway, so I went in for a tarp to cover it on the street. But first I had to stop my girlfriend's hyperventilating, because apparently she thought I made a "bad decision" to ride the bike when snow was in the forecast and didn't understand why I had a big smile on my face when I got home. Once the tarp was out of the attic, this is what it looked like.

All I can say is, I'm pricing snow chains!

I got out on my smaller bike Wed night and Thur afternoon. Wed was fun as there were no cars on the road so the snow (5-6") was still fresh. By Thurs some of the streets were plowed and those that weren't had been chewed up really bad by the 4x4. I tried to get a friend to ride with me on Thur but he said it was impossible. I rode over to his place and took him 7 beers b/c he was out of booze but mostly to prove him wrong.

Here's a short video from Wed.

And here's a short video from Thursday. Sorry about the snow melting on the lens housing.

K60s wouldn't have been much better with that solid center strip.

That's only on the 150s. I run the 140 rear and love it. I just hope I never have to change a flat on the trail, because those sidewalls are STIFF.

Ok guys. I have an idea for March. 22 March at 1400. County Seat Sports bar and grill. If there is enough interest I can get us a room by ourselves. It's on Main St in Lillington, across from the CVS. On street parking but if you want your bike off the street(some do) patrons use the CVS lot to park. Good food good prices.

In. Lots of new inmates checking in on the Fayetteville/Raleigh thread. Hopefully we can get them to join us.
