The old star lakes route thru goat mdw and along the edge of the park is one of the funnest old 4wd trails around .

Ive strapped the bag and pad on the LC4 and as soon as the sun goes down a little more Ima gonna blast my way up high some where with a view.
spend the night under the stars then meet my buddy in oakhurst tomorrow morn for a little half day moto session (200miles)

Stolen bike recovered.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374207

After missing for two weeks, the XR was returned to my driveway today !
I don't like typing so I'll tell anyone in person how we hunted the little prick down who stole it. On the next ride that is.

I'm stoked! Thanks to all who helped.

Guy from placerville on his way now to pick up the husabroke. He was supposed to have called, but he should be here in about an hour. I may cry... The KTM is no Husabroke powerwise, but the starting issues make up for that ... I guess.

Bah the money I am getting is already gone too. Just going to disappear against the KTM loan. Bum deal this...

Husabroke - Sold

Gone. Its gone gone gone. DSrider you can stop worrying if I am going to show up for rides on it. KTM only for me now.

Speaking of which... I need a new KTM parts dealer. Wilson's turn around on parts is rediculous, 3-5 working days is a joke. Dan from motoxotica used to turn parts around in 1-2 days. Bleh! I am going to splurg some of this money, KTM needs a little wake up, maybe a new exhaust can will cheer me up.

Good luck on yer ride. Can't go or I would, KTM is up on the lift. I am waiting for shims from wilson's. Should be next week mid-weekish before the the KTM is back together.

I will get working on the wife for the Septmeber ride. Do we have a destination?

+ like ten million. Ryan knows his shit. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY he won't sell you a ton a crap you don't need. I've taken stuff in before and he spent a few hours finding out nothing was wrong. He didn't make shit up (like a dealer would) and charge me - he said, everything is fine... no charge!

He's a stand up guy and a good rider himself.

Cheers
DR
