The ride was very cool. We started at millwood and 180. We parked about a mile up the road and off loaded the bikes. Tom brought the XR250R and we headed for for highly sought after single track. The views were great. The trail was mostly gravel road which had the bike lofting around... like riding on marbles.

We spotted the desired trail and did a little recon to sort out the level of difficulty. We found that the trail deadended about a mile after you are fully commited with no real way to even turn around . At that point we dropped the whole idea of single tracking and headed for Wishon.

What an amazing ride. about 30 miles of serious cliffs on one side or the other will surely prevent going into the blind secions too hot. We got to Wishon and had a snack jumped back on the bikes and hauled ass back to the trucks. I took 3 hours to get there with many stops for pics. It would be very easy to link up This trail with Dusy Ershim from Courtright up. That makes for a long day I know but if combined with an overnight at Courtright... it would be EPIC!

Here is what I was able to get off of Trails.com . Toms map from the Ranger station was much better.

Yo Steve,
I was getting a guy ready for a fight so no knock outs. You don't want to hurt a guy right before his fight. It's an MMA fight not a boxing match. I'm not much of a boxer, but I can ruin a guys day in other ways, not just by doting thier eye.
I never got around to riding today, the 950 needs an oil change and the 525 needs new shoes. I do want to find another way to get to 120 from Frestucky. Hite's Cove dead ends, Foresta still need a trip up 140. I'll find a new route. Heal up, we'll explore soon

Not that I've seen a lot but...

Everytime I've watched ultimate fighting the one thing that kept coming to my mind was how they should change it to ultimate rolling on the floor with another man.

They should break it up if both "fighters" are on the floor for more than 1 min and make the person who keeps wanting to roll around on the ground start off in a comprimising position.

I'd rather watch Oprah.

millwood to wishon

I know Rob and some of the others have already seen this area but Balch Camp and Black Rock were beautiful and serene araes to ride in. ShazamDRZ was right about the "marbles" on allot of the ride! When I can download I'll share some pics. Get well soon Steve.
