Here's the real route (high mountain road is kinda fun, the sorta thing k would enjoy and it'll get you warmed up for later - dirt prepped):

this goes through high mountain road to the pozo saloon (which may or may not be open).

this is a bit more technical I think. I only made it part way on the GS, it's pretty much the same as above but you'll notice it turns off on saucillo (i don't remember) road. It all loops around so it's all good.

If you're doing this then going straight home then i'd suggest adding just a few miles and doing:

Immediately after posting I had to answer my own question...

(Ok i was a die hard fan at age 10)

HE IS PLAYIN AT LAKE TAHOE!! LOL! But in July not June.

Now that would have been a really cool suprize if I woulda rolled up there and heard him playing...

Huey Lewis and the News was the first concert I ever went to!

I'll never forget the look on my dads face when I asked "Daddy what is that funny smell." When a funny looking little cigarrette was passed just one isle in front of our row.
