andrew and I made it back to my place at 7:30ish, I can't vouch for certain but I'm pretty sure he made it home safe shortly thereafter.

was a fun ride, can't wait to see the pictures! my poor aching GS, haha

What a blast, this was a very challenging ride with alot of difficult terrain, one got lost, one broke down, one did not make the top, every one home safe, I think.

Good to hear from you. Sorry about the mechanical, but don't sell the bike just yet. If you insist though, I'd like first dibs. Turns out that Husaberg packaged the wrong gasket (96mm bore instaed of 100mm) and in my haste I installed the gasket w/out checking. The piston hit the edge just before TDC! New gasket and master link will be in Monday.

I've ridden that Berg pretty hard in the Mojave Desert for over 2 years before any trouble. But my impression of a Berg is like my current mairrage; When it's good and everything's clicking there's nothing better in the world. When it's bad it's the biggest pain in the ass you could imagine. Both my wife and my Husaberg are teaching me new levels of patience, compassion, and flexibility. Also I'm told I'm a glutton for punishment!

I offer to come by and help with getting it going again; if nothing else it's motivation. Also, I had a tool made to press on the DID masterlink if you want to go back to the "good" stuff.

To you guys who made the ride- LuvYa- keep pictures coming.

Got home to the puppy exorcist. I'll now call him PE for short. There was shit on the walls, ceiling, clothes, washer - took two hours to clean up - not the way I wanted to end the day.

I slept in but still went out for breakfast. Didn't go out for the local BMW dual sport ride. I'm not quite up to Arnold yet.

This pro stunt man was showing Isellers how to "float down slowly" as not to put to much pressure on his newly healing leg. Note this was staged at a controlled environment with foam rocks under the fragile BMW cyl head and bike was not running it was gently set down.

Note no BMW's or riders were hurt in the making of this safety poster. You can see the foam under the BMW at all contact points if you are really smart. WE CARE
