No new shock... But I know someone in town that is hording three high end used aftermarket ones that would do the trick nicely. Just gotta convince him to part with one of them :p

I have slept no tent no sleeping bag ride gear wet in 20 degree weather overnight and survived albiet miserable before. I'm good with overnight on the 30's in dry clothes and a sleeping bag. Daytime temps are going to be in the 70's! Perfection!

perhaps im in.. it is technically closed but the rules are being bent till they change the rule to closure to after first snow.. not in november..amazing we will have riding this far into winter.. got to see if I get rid of this cold and have some time saturday..

Helping a friend run King of the Hammers race Feb 10th. I will come home and do my taxes, smog my truck and take off to Lake Havasu City for my first ride stop. My wife thinks we are going traveling, she is right, we will be traveling to the best riding spots I can find across the US.

No experience with em or I'd share. Are parts still available for them?

Went to Big 5 today to see if they had any of these (like spandex but lined with that performance fleece crap) ... They didnt but they had under armor pants for $39. Just trying to layer up against the 5am departure time :p

Dave, the 620 is very similar to the 640. Mine has been a great bike, it has almost 20000 miles with no problems. Hoping to add another 1000 this weekend at Death Valley Daze. LC4's come in three flavors, 640-E (enduro) 640-A (adventure) & the Duke (super moto) . They have two engine sizes 400 & 625cc. My 640-E is a 2000 model with the 50 mm WP extreme forks, I like them over the USD forks. $2200 is a fair price if its in good condition.
Read through the Lc4 threads in thumpers for more info,lots of good info there.

I am leaving for Miami Creek tomorrow and will ride thur, fri& sat if all gos well. I am going to try staying at Lone Sequoia Camp Ground. You guys have fun at DVDs.

I always thought the duke and duke II's were pretty cool. In my dream fleet of vehicles it is on my "must have" list, along with a dozen or so others.

I wonder how Jay Lenno does it, I'll have to give him a call. Ya know keeping all his machines in running shape... Prolly has a fulltime mechanic on staff. *sigh* just one more thing I need to start saving up for.

Leno employs a man full time who specializes in steam engines. So I'm pretty sure he has a mechanic or two for his combustion powered vehicles.
