Welcome to the forum McKay.

Wish I had video of my most excellent class 4 rapid ride hanging on for dear life with my poor bike fully submerged.......I would be a youtube sensation!

What vehicle was I in? White dakota with ca exempt plates? Mighta been me... What time of day?

Also ... JP one o them forks started leaking again. Sooo I guess I'll be tearing em down.

Tom - you gave me the papers for the fork rebuild and I have been scouring the garage for em, but cant find them. I know they are around - found the owners manual. In the meantime do you recall what weight oil they put in them? I am gonna go with 15wt I think unless you now that would be bad. A little stiffer ride is fine with me.

DR fork oil

Here's a thread:
http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/396...ty-and-weight/

Basically says to stay with 10 weight. If you use 15 weight will make ride very harsh. I think I put 47 mm springs in the front end....

Black rock to wishon gate was closed weekend before last. You could get to black rock campground and the underground powerplant place but the split up to the wishon area was gated .Not sure why, there wasnt much snow?

I really want to, but I think I'm going to have to wait at least 2 more weeks just to be sure I don't screw my back up any more than it already is..... If you're able to get out this weekend, have fun & take it easy......hopefully we'll all be back out there before too long.
