[QUOTE=montibank;18957975]... On two wheels again.

Now who recognizes this ff?

Damn, I miss that guy! Still on a Suzuki, I hope this one hold together better than that full race DRZ.

Yuppers its jeff.

Saw this on facebook and had to share. He has full gear, this is just his "lookie what I got for fathers day/token shit eating grin" pic.

Gave him shit about the lack of knobbies - couldn't help myself.

Thumb Whats up Fella's?

Hey man! So shazamdrz is now ShazamGSXR as in GSXR 1000. Its Great too. Ive been tootling around town trying not to hurt myself on this mind shattering 182 horsepower behemoth. It is actually really easy to ride you just have to respect the throttle. So im up for street rides or escort rides to your dirt destinations when you feel like it. It's good to be back. Touch base when you get a chance.

My Wife and I are going to MotoGP this year and somehow we ended up with two extra tickets for Sunday July 29 (raceday) $70 each and I have two of them. Just let me know.

Heya Jeff - there are a number of the CVR folks going to motogp ... I am sure there would be a few folks over there interested in those tickets if no one here takes you up on em.

Meant what I offered with the TLR... Even have a dirt field near the house she can tool around in if she would like to start off in the dirt.

Oh and I have a six year old little girl that would love some little girl visitors to play with too heh.

I wonder if Jeff's fancy new GSXR will make to the top of bald mountain. With his lack of knobby's and all.

Nice bike Jeff, just be carefull.

I'm sure he can do it; I made it to the top no problem on my SV650 with sticky street rubber.

Hi fellas,
Im from NJ (yea I know ). I have a favor to ask, I was wondering if anyone here familar with the Snowy Moutains area just north of Clear Lake and with Mapsource, would be kind enough to give a quick look at my intended route and endorse it or tell me it's not going to work or how to make it work.
The 1st 2 weeks of Sept. I will be riding the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route then the Oregon BCDR, then Ill drop into your Lost Cost then making my way towards Reno across the Central Valley and do this Snowing Mountain loop I saw on the way. I fly back home from Reno 16 days after landing in Seattle. DR650 is my steed.

If so Ill email the Mapsource file.
Thanks Central Valley, oh and thanks for all the food you folks grow too !

We were probably swiming above honeymoon pool about that time. Our site was right on the road so we missed giving you the look.

Anybody riding tomorrow? This will be my last free Sat. for the next 6 months since my shift changes next week. I bit the bullet and joined the Pirelli MT43 bandwagon. Just mounted it up on the rear and would like to try it out locally before I head out to WMRS and Kennedy Meadows next month.

Glad your back in the saddle!

Hell, I do 70% street on every ride(by mileage)......time spent off road is much longer though

Laugh

Rode the Sierra NF today. 134 miles. Trimmer, Balch Camp, Granite Gorge, Wishon, part way out Rogers Ridge, Dinkey, Shaver. Was riding alone but met 2 guys at Black Rock reservoir and had a break with them at the Wishon Store. I introduced them to ADVrider.com so we may have a couple more local riders join us one of these days.

While at the store a lady came up and asked about our bikes. She lives in Virginia but has a house in Shaver. She and her family have more bikes than all of us combined. She had a hard time remembering all the dual sport bikes they have divided between Virginia and California!

Kings River looks nice. Could see a nice sized trout swimming in the dark hole from this vantage point.
