Dusy Ride

OK all, I want to do a Dusy or Rubicon ride the weekend of September 29th and would rather it not be a solo ride. I have already done Dusy solo in a jeep and don't want to get that far back by myself again if it can be helped. If you like hard technical riding, you should like this ride. If the consensus is for Dusy, I would like to start at Kaiser Pass Sat morning at 8:00 AM. I will have a truck drive around to the end of the trail that can haul your gas can or gear so you can top of for the ride back to Shaver Lake if needed. I plan to spend Fri night at the trail head. So get that weekend marked for some riding.

Thumb Farkle #1

The farkles have begun............

Got the Scorpion Racing skid plate installed tonight. The factory "skid plate" was not up to the challenge and had to go. Kennedy Meadows look out!

Looks are deceiving. With the ADVrider 20% discount and free shipping it was only about $15 more than the Ricochet skid plate. And the other skid plates don't come with the cool scorpion on the sides.

Oh yeah, the scorpion on the side is way cool!
Now let's go break it in on some rocks.

I just got through checking the race sag and static sag. It was all right on the money. No wonder this thing seems dialed in. The next farkle is the seat. Seat Concepts here I come. And yes Montibank, there is a ADVrider discount code for Seat Concepts as well!

I was just about to post the same question

I'm good for either day, although I have to be back in town by 5pm if I ride Saturday.

JP Sunday is best for me I need to be back around 4:30 5 as well. Should be nice enough weather coming back this weekend finally. I don't really have a preferance on location. You seam to know these areas pretty well, some twisties and good trails is all that is needed...

Sunday works best for me. Working a half day on Saturday and I still need to spoon on the new tires but should still be ready to go by Sunday. Where are we going?
